3 key Chelsea players Thomas Tuchel will loan out in January

Chelsea gotten world class defender that will help them to win premier league

It is already known that Thomas Tuchel is preparing for an overhaul of his Chelsea squad in January transfer window.

This is chiefly because there are too many names on the books of the West London club and it is only logical to trim down on those numbers once there is an opportunity to do so.

Tuchel appears unlikely to welcome any new faces to Stamford Bridge in January but a series of departures are anticipated as the German coach looks to clear some of the deadwood within his ranks.

As we wait to see what will happen in January, here are three Chelsea players likely to be shipped out in January.

Andreas Christensen

Except there is change on what is presently on the table, Chelsea is at the risk of losing the Dane for free.

While it is clear Tuchel does not want to lose Christensen, the centre-back is yet to sign a new contract, January represents the last chance for Blues to receive a fee on their Academy graduate.

Italian side, AC Milan had shown interest in the past while a return to the Bundesliga is also a possibility following Christensen’s time on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Ross Barkley

The England international is one of the obvious candidates when it comes to potential departures given his lack of minutes this season.

It appears Barkley is not a key feature in Tuchel’s plan; meaning he would need to seek a better life away from Stamford Bridge.

Saul Niguez

The deadline day move from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea is appearing to be a misadventure.

Since struggling on his debut against Aston Villa, Saul Niguez is yet to force his way back to reckoning in the Chelsea set-up.

Having failed to make the expected impact, Chelsea are not expected to take up their option to sign him permanently and if he is still not playing by the start of the new year, it won’t be surprising to see Atletico recalling him.
