CHE 3-1 MUN: Chelsea women defeat Man United to through to the final
Chelsea Women have once again made it to another final after thrashing Manchester United Women 3-1 in the FA Women’s League Cup semifinal at Kingsmeadow.
The Blues were without some key players for this really important game but the full time score reflected just how good they were on the night.
Everyone knows Chelsea Women team are currently the best Women football team in England and one of the best in the world, so this result is really not coming as a surprise.
Also, the fact that they now hold a record of 5 wins and 1 draw against Manchester United in their last 6 meetings shows how dominant they’ve been against United.
After this huge result, they will find out who they will be facing in the final when Manchester City play Tottenham in the second semi final later tonight.
Going by how successful this team has been under the tutelage of Emma Hayes, it is hard to see Chelsea not winning this trophy now that they’ve made it to the final.
Just like the Men’s team, the Women’s team is achieving great things under their current manager.
Don’t forget that the Men’s team have made it to the final of the Carabao Cup earlier this year and will be participating in the FIFA Club World Cup later this month.
From what we are seeing so early in the year, both the Men and Women team are set to have another incredibly successful year like the did in the 2021.
They are truly following in the footsteps of the Men team in the way they are currently dominating English football. Chelsea fans must be very proud.
