Despite the fact that the Chelsea football club will be looking to play in the FIFA club world cup tournament, they will need to have a good lineup in order to perform at their peak in the tournament, which they will attempt to win. Here are two possible starting lineups for Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup tournament.

The first row of the lineup;
Because Edouard Mendy is still competing in the African Nations Championship, Kepa Arizabalaga might be the goalkeeper for the Blues in their FIFA club world cup matches this month. The 3:4:2:1 configuration could be utilized by Thomas Tuchel to build up the team.
Antonio Rudiger has the potential to be a key member of the team’s central defense. Along with Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen has the potential to play in the center defensive position as well.
Because he has returned to action, Reece James may be the one to play in the right full-back position for the team, while Marcos Alonso might be the one to play in the left full-back position for the club. N’Golo Kante has the potential to be one of the club’s central midfielders, and he might be teamed by Jorginho in that position. Kai Havertz, one of the attacking midfielders, might break into the starting eleven and be paired with Mason Mount, while Timo Werner, the team’s striker, could also make his debut.

Second row of the lineup;
The coach can also use the 3-5-2 formation to set up the team for the tournament, which may have an impact on the types of players who are selected for the starting lineup. However, Kepa Arizabalaga may retain his position as the team’s first choice goalkeeper because Edouard Mendy is currently unavailable.
In the center defensive position, Cesar Azpilicueta may be flanked by the duo of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, with whom he would have a good rapport. Depending on the situation, Callum Hudson-Odoi could be deployed in the left full-back position, while Reece James could be deployed in the right full-back position for the team.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek might be the man to partner Jorginho in the central midfield position at Manchester United this season. In this particular lineup, Christian Pulisic might be the one to take over the central offensive midfield role for the club, as the team’s captain.
Timo Werner has the potential to be one of the team’s strikers during the tournament, and he might be teamed with Romelu Lukaku in that position.
