Chelsea vs Man City: Please don't start him against City

Chelsea Boss, Graham Potter is expected faced with a lot of key decisions heading into Thursday’s EPL clash against Pep Guardiola’s side at Stamford Bridge.

N’Golo Kante, Wesley Fofana, Armando Broja & Reece James are several weeks months away from regaining full fitness & expected to be unavailable to feature on Thursday due to fitness reasons.

On a more positive note, Ben Chilwell & Ruben Loftus-Cheek are close to recuperating fully from their respective thigh and calf injuries respectively, with the latter likely to get the approval from the medical team to make the squad here.

In Goal, Spain international, Kepa Arrizabalaga will get the start with Edouard Mendy still recovering from a shoulder problem and unlikely to make the team, shielded by the center-back partnership of Kalidou Koulibaly & Thiago Silva.

Marc Cucurella & Cesar Azpilicueta aren’t under any pressure to lose their starting spots any of their teammates, both are expected to be retained in the starting XI, Denis Zakaria will also be pressing for another start in the centre of the park & will certainly get to feature alongside Mateo Kovacic.

Ziyech’s cameo display off the substitutes bench against Steve Cooper’s Forest was impressive, but we expect the attack featuring Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Raheem Sterling to remain unchanged from the last game.

While Kai Havertz who had a torrid game against Nottingham, will be displaced by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the number 9 role for the West Londoners.
