Don't officiate our game again: Worst VAR And Referee Decision Against Arsenal In 0-0 Draw With Newcastle

Following the match up between Arsenal and Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium yesterday, there was a decision called by the video assistant referee that I didn’t completely agree with. Arsenal were clearly robbed in the match as they were denied a clear penalty.

Gabriel Magalhaes was pulled down in the penalty area while Arsenal took a corner kick. The defender pulled the Arsenal defender down. The referee probably overlooked it because of head injury that was later sustained between Nick Pope and a defender. That should not have stopped VAR from doing what was right and awarding a penalty for Arsenal against that foul.

Watch the video here, Gabriel Magalhaes was pulled to the ground whole he tried to head the ball at goal. VAR has actually been inconsistent when it come to Arsenal, we’ve seen some decisions that ha e been made against Arsenal that are not fair at all. Arsenal have won most of their games, this is why most if the controversial decisions are just overlooked.
