Chelsea will see a significant increase in player numbers. The following game is against Aston Villa. Tuchel is determined to keep up with league leaders Manchester City.

The upcoming games will be crucial and costly in the title race. Some of the seven players who tested positive for coronavirus were double vaccinated and will be allowed to play sooner.

Tuchel has confirmed that two players will return to Cobham. The players are Romelu Lukaku and Callum Hudson Odoi. Prior to the Wolves game, both tested positive. The coach is relieved to have them back before the weekend game. He, on the other hand, declares that they are not fit enough to start against Villa.

He is, however, overjoyed to have them back and believes they will be fully fit to face Brighton in midweek. The other players who haven’t been vaccinated have been warned to be more diligent and get the vaccine before they run out of games.
