Jorginho cries after missing two penalties that send Italy out of World Cup

Italy national team failed to qualify for 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after they lost 1-0 at home to North Macedonia national team on Thursday night in the playoff.

Chelsea football club of England star Jorginho Frello believes he is responsible for Italy’s failure to qualify for FIFA World Cup, because he missed two penalties during the qualifiers.

The former Napoli football club star was crying profusely on Thursday night, after North Macedonia national team netted a 90th minutes goal to end Italy’s hope of participating in this year’s edition of the FIFA World Cup, and he said he will surely be ‘haunted for life’.

Jorginho Frello is Italy’s first choice penalty taker, and his team won two penalties against Switzerland in their last two group stage matches, and he missed the two penalties, and that’s why they finished at the second spot of their group table.

Italy missed out in 2018 FIFA World Cup, and they won’t be playing again in this year’s edition of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Speaking to newsmen after Italy national team were beaten 1-0 by North Macedonia national team on Thursday night, Jorginho Frello said;

I do still think about the two penalties that I lost (against Switzerland national team), and it will haunt me for the rest of my life.”
